The Moon Companion — Tonight’s Phase, and the Working for It

Where the moon is tonight, and what to do about it.

Open it and it calculates the actual phase for today — drawn properly, with the illumination percentage and where you are in the 29-day cycle. Then it gives you the working for that phase: begin, build, see clearly, release, or rest.

It also tells you what’s coming. The next new moon, first quarter, full and last quarter, with the dates and how many days away — so you can plan a working rather than notice the full moon on the day.

And it keeps your log. What you began, what you saw clearly, what you released — one entry a month, with the earlier months listed underneath. Read three months back and the pattern is embarrassingly clear.
