Every October, a certain kind of person quietly commits to watching thirty-one horror films in thirty-one nights. No prize. No audience. Just a personal campaign of poor sleep and worse eating, undertaken with total seriousness.
This is the paperwork for it.
31 Nights of Horror is a printable 26-page kit for the October challenge. Two prompt lists so you can go again next year, a bingo card for people who resent being told what to watch, a wall chart for the fridge, and thirty-two film cards to fill in while the credits are still rolling — because by day nineteen you will not remember what happened on day six.
It ends, as these things should, with a certificate.
What’s inside
• The List — thirty-one prompts, one for each night
• The Wildcard List — a second full set, for year two or a bad mood
• The Bingo Card — twenty-five squares, no order, no schedule
• The Wall Chart — one box a night, for somewhere visible
• 32 Film Cards — title, year, director, rating, dread rating, best moment, one-line verdict
• The Records — your month reduced to statistics
• The Top Five — the ones you’d defend at a dinner party
• Next Year’s List — everything you meant to get to and didn’t
• The Certificate of Survival — proof, for the doubters
The details

Works just as well in January, incidentally. Nobody has ever checked.
Welcome to the kingdom. Long live the madness.
